About this test
The CPU benchmark runs a mix of integer, floating-point and memory work in Web Workers: first on a single thread, then on every available thread. The scores show single-core speed, which matters for most apps and games, and multi-core throughput, which matters for rendering and compiling. Results also reveal thermal throttling and power-saving modes.
How to use this test
- Plug in your laptop and close heavy apps.
- Press Run benchmark and keep the tab visible.
- Compare your scores with the reference table.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my score lower on battery?
Laptops reduce processor speed on battery to save power. Use the best-performance power mode for comparisons.
Why is multi-thread scaling lower than the thread count?
Hyper-threads share cores, and heat or power limits reduce clock speed when all cores are busy.
